During the last two days, I was taking long photo walks (over 20k steps). I noticed that while having a break during these walks, I treat coffee as a reward.
Today, I am in Brok. I won’t take a long walk today. Still, undoubtedly, I will be walking with my beloved Parents. Tomorrow as well. I think that today I won’t be walking with a heavy rucksack (I feel I need to take a rest from the two days of my long walks). Still, tomorrow, I plan to return to rucking (undoubtedly, I will be carrying my heavy rucksack while walking with my Parents in the healing in Brok). Nevertheless, I wanted to write this text about drinking a coffee.
Indeed, yesterday, I drank a coffee on Grochowska Street. I really like these 15-20 minute stops to take some rest, to read a book, and enjoy a coffee outside. The same was two days ago. While having my long photo walk in the Ursynów district, again, I took a one-stop and drank two cups of coffee! I treated them as a reward and a refreshing pause after a long walk.
Why did I not do long photo walks (over 20k steps) and a coffee break earlier?
I believe that the answer is not straightforward. Previously, I haven’t considered such long walks. Still, I think it all started on the 11th of March, 2026. My employer was cyber-attacked, and suddenly, “out of nothingness,” I had three additional days off. I spontaneously decided to use these days for street photography as much as I could. Since that time, I think I will be diversifying my walks more frequently. Still, I cannot imagine doing these long photo walks all the time, due to a lack of time, and because I want to do rucking as well. For today, I am walking with a rucksack weighing 40.5 kg (89 lbs), and I cannot imagine walking with such a heavy backpack and doing over 20k or even 25k steps. Still, I can imagine that I will be having coffee as a reward during my long photo walks.
